Jamboree 2019
I am in California this week for the Southern California Genealogical Society’s annual Genealogy Jamboree. I love this conference because it is so extremely well run and has very many of the same wonderful and dynamic speakers that you would find at the national conference level. This weekend I’m looking forward to hearing sessions by Judy Russell, Blaine Bettinger, Cyndi Ingle, Thomas MacEntee, Devon Noel Lee and more.
Today was DNA Day and I’m probably the only person in the genealogy world who isn’t interested in attending any of these workshops, so I’m planning out my schedule for the next several days.
As usual, there are always two things scheduled at the same time that I really, really want to see. But for now, my schedule for tomorrow looks something like this. And, by the way, if you aren’t using the Jamboree Mobile app…you are missing out. It is one of the best conference apps I’ve ever used for a regional conference.
I am an official Blogger for Jamboree 2019. I receive no compensation or perks in exchange for blogging about the conference. The opinions written are my own.
